God Matters
Scriptural Authority - We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant word of God. God's word is our binding source for all faith and practice. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)
Spiritual Disciplines - We believe in applying the spiritual disciplines of worship, prayer, study and obedience in everyday life. The purity of our personal lives toward God pleases Him and leads to effectiveness in ministry. (1 Pet. 1:14-16; Matt. 5:8; 1 Tim. 4:7,8 )
Spiritual Empowerment - We believe that the Christian life and ministry is impossible to live in one's own power. The indwelling Spirit of God received at the point of salvation is Himself the power over sin and the power to minister to others. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; Eph. 5:18, Gal.5:22)
People Matter
Healthy Relationships - We believe that the only real relationships are Godly relationships. Today, more than ever, people are starving for the kind of love that can only be given and received through the power of God. (John. 15:12-17, Eph. 4:25-32, Phil. 2:1-16)
Volunteer Ministry - We believe that God places special skills, abilities, heart-desires and sensitivities in the lives of His people. We must employ these gifts to build one another up and minister God's love to the world. (1 Cor. 12; Rom. 12; Eph. 4)
Community Relevance - We believe that God created the cultures of the world as expressions of His creation with the intent that they be redeemed and used for His purposes. Contextualizing our ministry within the setting to which God has called us is essential. (1 Cor. 9:19-23)
You Matter
Authenticity - We believe in being transparent down to the core of who we are. Our strengths as well as our weaknesses are showcases for God to demonstrate His power. (Ex. 20:16)
Creativity - We believe that God is the true author of creativity. His Church should reflect the beauty of His creative Spirit. (Gen. 1:1)
Excellence - We believe that it is our responsibility to be good stewards of God's resources. We must minister at a the highest level attainable in every situation. (Phil. 4:8; 2 Tim. 2:15)
