Go Fish – January 2013
The goal of the “Go Fish” series is to turn followers into fishermen. If you’ve ever gone fishing, then you know that one of the most exciting feelings in the world is that underwater tug on the other end of the line. That is the feeling true fishermen get hooked on and want to experience again and again.
Our Lord Jesus and his fishermen disciples knew all about that. In Matthew 4:19, Jesus gave a different kind of fishing invitation to two brothers who were casting nets into the sea. He said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Modern day disciples are still being found by Jesus and accepting his invitation to find people for Jesus. Are you one of them? January is the opening of the 2013 fishing season at RiverTown Church. It takes found people to find people, so come and learn how to cast your own net and what to do when you feel the tug of the BIG ONE.

In John chapter 21 Jesus showed his disciples he always knows where the fish are and how they can fish on the right side of the boat when they listen to him. Jesus never intended us to be hungry for his word or in need of relationships with his people. Small groups of disciples called Home Teams are the right side of the boat to fish for both of these at RiverTown! John 21:1-14

[/one_half]The Money Is In The Fish’s Mouth
February – 3rd 2013 Pastor David Rathel
Jesus cares about our financial needs and responsibilities. In this gospel passage, Jesus showed the apostle Peter that there is no such thing as a financial crisis as long as we are willing to believe that anything is possible. The money is always in the fish’s mouth because the resources for our future can be found in obedience today. Matthew 17:24-27
