MARY – “The Spirit-Filled, Fully-Charged, Mother Of Christ!” – December 8th
What should have been her greatest tragedy became her greatest glory. She was a teen mother with no husband. She faced the task of explaining to everyone who had ever known her, including her parents and fiance’, that she was pregnant and still a virgin. Oh, and the only thing she had to go on was the appearance of an Angel that only she could see.
She could have easily felt drained, dis-heartened, disillusioned, defeated, distorted, devastated and doubtful. But not Mary! She had been touched and filled with God’s Spirit as she carried God’s Son. She was fully charged and ready for the the radical and risky journey ahead.
There’s the secret. She was most powerful when she was most vulnerable. She was the strongest when she was the weakest. She was fully filled when she had the reason to be most empty.
Mary Was Filled With God’s Spirit As She Embraced The Danger And Risk Of God’s Calling On Her Life.
This Sunday’s message will show you how to unlock the secret of the spirit-filled life. Trust me, you’re going to need this one for your Holiday season.

[/one_half]Fully Charged Christmas Story! – December 22nd
The Christmas Story is Charged With The Power To Transform MY Story!
A Pregnant Virgin – Luke 1:26-31 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” 29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. (NASB)
A Marriage Saved – Matthew 1:20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
The Lowliest Lifted – Luke 2:8-10 ”In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.9 And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.” (NASB)
Good News For The Poor, Sick, And Oppressed – Luke 4:17-19 And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written, 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, 19 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” (NASB)
A Lifelong Dream Fulfilled – Matthew 2:1-2 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, 2 “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.” (NASB)
Gifts Of Hope – Matthew 2:11 After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh (NASB)
My Child Protected – Matthew 2:13 Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.” (NASB)
An Escape From Danger – Matthew 2:14-15 So Joseph got up and took the Child and His mother while it was still night, and left for Egypt. 15 He remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.” (NASB)
A Rejection Overcome – John 1:11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. John 7:5 For even his own brothers did not believe in him. (NASB)
A Forever Kingdom – Luke 1:32-33 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” (NASB)
God Is With Us – She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” 22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” (NASB)

[/one_half]“New Year, New Hope”
Message From Mrs. Janice Debice. – Sunday December 29
Mrs. Janice Debice is a – once in a lifetime – kind of friend! As a committed member of Cascade Hills Church, Janice has shared her love for Christ and stories of serving Him many times over the years at RiverTown. She has been a friend of my family all of my life. Her family lived near my grandparents when I was a child and I learned so much from time spent on her porch listening to what Jesus had been doing through her. She and her precious late husband Raymond raised their family in our community alongside me and all my friends in church and in school. Nothing compares to really knowing someone and seeing their walk with Christ grow closer and closer every year.
There has never been a time in my life that I wasn’t sure that “Mrs. Janice” was out there somewhere in our city trying to lead someone to be born again in Christ! She shares the Gospel and her love for Christ one-on-one more than all the pastors I know in our city, including me! I can’t wait for this Sunday to be renewed in my fire for the Gospel and living for Christ as she shares God’s word, her experiences, and injects us all with hilarity and hope for a new year. I praise God for this opportunity to hear from one of God’s choice servants. You will love meeting her!
