RiverTown Church is searching for a Pastor to Children and Families who will be responsible for developing relationships with families with children. If you are a dynamic person who loves Jesus, pursues a calling in ministry, and enjoys leading events for children, then this opportunity might be for you.
The successful candidate will love Jesus and others, will have strong communication skills, and be able to mentor young fathers. They will develop relationships with families and lead Sunday Morning Children’s Services.
This position fulfills our mission of “Transforming lives into the likeness of Jesus Christ” by discipling fathers, mothers, and volunteers as part of an overall church discipleship strategy of connecting with Believers and Non-believers, helping them to Belong in at RiverTown Church and Become servants of God.
Christian Character:
A spiritually maturing person with a daily walk with God and role model of lifestyle holiness according to the Bible. This includes a practice of daily personal worship times, sharing one’s faith, a commitment to personal and group bible study and tithing. A loyal commitment to the family, future, mission and reputation of RiverTown Church, its members, and Pastoral leaders is also a must.
Ministry Qualifications:
О A person who is teachable both personally and in ministry.

О A self-starter who does not have to be continually supervised.
О Able to adapt to the continually changing nature of a young and growing church.
О Able to handle conflict in ministry situations.
О Able to communicate and persuade effectively.

О Able to mentor fathers effectively.
О Able to recruit volunteers and resource them effectively.
О Able to make smart goals and achieve them effectively.
О Displays personal moral excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Children’s Sunday Service Flow weekly.
- Prepare volunteers to minister through on-going recruitment and training.
- Ensure that high standards of security and safety are in place.
- Lead summer ministry events such as VBS and Children’s Camp.
- Build relationships with families, starting with the man of the house if present.
- Report to Casey Valencia.
Details:
- The Starting Salary for this part-time position is $300 per week.
