"Grrr...attitude" is a faithless heart condition. It is found when we are ungrateful for what God has given us and refuse to use it to do His work. During this season of Thanksgiving, remember that God's greatest work in your life is still ahead of you! His next step for you is already beginning. His solution is in your hand. You're not waiting for Him to act, He's waiting for you to start. Judges 15:14-17 (NLT) As Samson arrived at Lehi, the Philistines came shouting in triumph. But the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon Samson, and he snapped the ropes on his arms as if they were burnt strands of flax, and they fell from his wrists.15 Then he found the jawbone of a recently killed donkey. He picked it up and killed 1,000 Philistines with it. 16 Then Samson said, "With the jawbone of a donkey, I've piled them in heaps! With the jawbone of a donkey, I've killed a thousand men!" 17 When he finished his boasting, he threw away the jawbone; and the place was named Jawbone Hill. My point this Sunday is perfectly seen in this picture of Samson's weapon and finished work: STOP WAITING FOR WHAT YOU WANT AND START WORKING WITH WHAT YOU HAVE! All Samson had was the jawbone of a donkey to help him survive, succeed, and solve his life's problems. That was all he needed! What do you have in your hand today? It may seem stupid and small, but when you surrender yourself to God's spirit and power He will use it to leave a life changing legacy for His Glory!
